Your donations are working to help save the Mountain Gorillas. Thanks to the generosity of our contributors over the last 21 years we have seen an increase in the gorilla population from only 248 in 1987 to 723 in 2007. In keeping Dian Fossey’s dream alive, the MGCF has many projects in the works to help continue the population increase. And it is working! Recently, we have seen a 17% increase in the Mountain Gorilla population in Rwanda and Eastern Congo and 15% increase in Uganda. The grand total today is just over 700 mountain gorillas in the world! We thank everyone who contributed to this effort! We all must think into the future for the gorillas to survive.
