Your donations are working to help save the Mountain Gorillas. Thanks to the generosity of our contributors over the last 26 years we have seen an increase in the gorilla population from only 248 in 1987 to 790 in 2011. In keeping Dian Fossey’s dream alive, the MGCF has many projects in the works to help continue the population increase. And it is working! Recently, we have seen a 26.3% increase in the Mountain Gorilla population. The grand total today is estimated to be 790 mountain gorillas in the world! We thank everyone who contributed to this effort! We all must think into the future for the gorillas to survive.
